Back in Action




A very late happy new year and we’re back! It's been a while but it's nice to get back into the swing of things. We took a break over Christmas and had dissertations to finish but now we’re going into full production!

Before we went back to college we got back together and had a team meeting, discussing ideas and doing some basic housekeeping, what went right, what needed changing etc. In this meeting, we discussed milestones for each build what we wanted to get out of each build.

We’re currently working towards our Alpha and our upcoming playtest in two weeks. We decided to tweak the placement system and refine the camera for placement. I know I keep going on about the camera but seriously the camera is something you don’t pay much attention to if it is done right but it's the only thing you notice if it's done badly.

We’re also working on our next level which will be a different setting from the first (that’s all I can say for now). This involves putting together mood boards, researching, sketches and the all-important white boxing. Along with the level we’re getting to work implementing some new obstacles to give more variety to screw people over.
